Spring is almost here!!!!


We've had a rainy winter, not to complain. It is better than too dry or the poor fellows up north that keep getting sub zero temperatures. I am soooo looking forward to Spring and sunshine. Of course, after that, comes the extreme heat. haha The extreme humidity comes year round, with just a little break off and on in the winter and fall.
BUT for now, the birds are chirping like crazy, the weeds are growing like crazing, and the temp is going crazy...30's, 50's, 80's, 40's...70's...It's sunny, then it storms; you never know what to expect, that's kind of nice. It's flower & vegi planting time.
Oh, don't you just love Spring!

xylitol-sugar substitute-dangerous for dogs

The sugar substitute, xylitol, is very dangerous for dogs. A lot of sugerless gums use it, among other things. Go to the web page, and read the article for the info.
Please keep people food out of reach from your pets. They are like toddlers. They try to sneak a bite of whatever they can, whenever they can. I received an email about a lady's dachshund that got into a purse to get the gum!
